City Build Manchester have completed a new office development in Manchester City Centre for 42nd Street a company who provides support and counselling for young people. The brief was to deliver a unique building which would encourage the Charities young people to use the facilities on offer. A major Challenge of the project was to deliver such a building for the Charities firm budget of £750,000.00 and within the 26 weeks available. The Constricted Site with Great Ancoats Street to the front and sandwiched between two existing Buildings added to the Challenges of the project.


City @ Home


City Build Manchester Limited where appointed to Design and Construct the new executive / administration office development for Manchester City Football Club at the City of Manchester Stadium Complex. The brief was to design and construct over 1200m2 of state of the art offices to be used by the Club’s executives, marketing, administration and accountancy teams. In addition the scheme had to include a Starbucks Refectory area for the use of the buildings occupants and visitors. The Project had a 20 week Construction period with a budget of £1.85 million. The project was completed on time and within budget.



Farjo Clinic

City Build have recently successfully delivered the extensive refurbishment, alteration and fit out works for the Farjo Hair Institute who are a world renowned hair replacement specialists based in Manchester City Centre. The new Institute is a high specification research and education centre which explores and develops new pioneering hair transplant techniques and surgery. The project involved the complete renovation of a four storey town house with tight contraints in the city centre.


The Halle

The Halle Concert Society

City Build Manchester Limited has recently completed the renovation of St Peter’s Church in Ancoats. The Grade II listed Church has been sympathetically modernised and acoustically treated to provide the world renowned Hallé Orchestra with their first personally owned rehearsal and recording space in their 155 year history. Our works began with the removal of the existing suspended floor and the installation of a new structural suspended floor, designed to carry the loadings imposed by the 80 piece orchestra and future events.


Executive Boxes 

Manchester City FC

City Build Manchester Limited where appointed to undertake the project to refurbish all of the Executive Boxes within the City of Manchester Stadium for Manchester City Football Club. The Design and Build project to refurbish 71nr boxes was carried out during recent close seasons in a 16 week period. The brief in line with the Club’s procurement policy encouraged that the works were designed to incorporate and utilise local suppliers and resources wherever possible. An example of one of the successes of this policy was the purpose made carpet which has subsequently been laid throughout all of the stadium executive corridors and Suites which was manufactured in Blackburn


Retail Store Refurbishment

Manchester City FC

City Build have recently completed their 2nd substantial refurbishment project of the Manchester City’s Retail Store at the Etihad Stadium in the past five years. This challenging 6-week project was delivered in partnership with the Football Club and their clothing provider Nike over the recent close season. The project brief was to significantly alter and refurbish the existing store and 1st floor ticket offices prior to the new kit launch for 2016 / 2017 season to increase selling space and match day foot traffic capacity.


HQ Refurbishment

North Wales Police

The works comprised the re-roofing and facade replacement of themain headquarters building combined with major alterations to the mechanical and electrical installation and a full internal refurbishment. All these works had to be achieved whilst the police HQ remained operational. The project was also undertaken in partnership with the Carbon Trust who were a major stakeholder in the scheme, promoting design initiatives (Brise Soilel, light shelves, intelligent heating and ventilation) and monitoring / profiling techniques (networked energy meters etc) in order reduce the environmental impact of the building both at handover and in the future.
