Building a new suite of labs around a live MRI Suite certainly comes with its challenges, but I have been fortunate enough to be working with such a fantastic team at City Build who were able to make our design a reality.
I can confirm that Wigan Council and the School were more than happy with the completed project to both refurbish two areas, and build a new extension in an existing and live school, at Bedford high School, Leigh. Their own employees and sub-contractors are a pleasure to work with, and also worked very well with the school and their staff, on this somewhat difficult project, especially logistically, completing it to a high standard, and one which we can all be proud of.
I’d like to record my thanks to you all for the great work done to get our new Outpatient Pharmacy project to successful delivery. It looks great! in just the first 3 weeks of opening the transformation in performance has been astonishing. On behalf of our patients who are now getting a much more positive experience I’d like to formally express my gratitude.
From day one on this incredibly tight programme, City Build took initiative and communicated openly with the entire team, including the client. The brief changed throughout the project, but was accommodated by the rapid response of the site team. Using weekend working, and taking the initiative on details and strategy to retain programme, allowed the school classrooms to be handed over exactly as promised. I am encouraged by City Build’s approach and very much look forward to working with them again.
