We’re delighted to share that City Build has once again donated a Christmas tree to Macclesfield District General Hospital for the second year running — a small gesture to help bring some festive spirit to patients, visitors, and staff this holiday season.

Located proudly outside the hospital’s main entrance, the tree was lit this week alongside East Cheshire NHS Trust representatives, including Rob Few (Deputy Director of Estates & Facilities), Ged Murphy (Chief Executive), Aislinn O’Dwyer (Chair), and our own Toby Rexstraw (Director at City Build).

City Build has been working closely with the Trust on projects such as the Elective Treatment Centre and the A&E refurbishment, and we’re grateful for the strong relationships we’ve built with the Estates and Capital teams and the wider Trust over the years.

As our Business Manager, Andrew Field, said:

“Donating the Christmas tree is a small way for us to give something back and to show our appreciation for the fantastic work your staff do, especially at this time of year. As a business, we always aim to deliver meaningful social value in the communities where we work.”

Wishing everyone a wonderful festive season! 🌟
