City Build has enjoyed a long association with Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust, which provides inpatient and community-based mental health care for people living in Bolton, the city of Manchester, Salford and Trafford and a wide range of specialist mental health and substance misuse services across Greater Manchester, the north west of England and beyond. The Trust also provides Health and Justice Services in a number of custodial settings, employing around 5,700 members of staff, who deliver services from more than 150 locations. Over a 12-month period, Greater Manchester Mental Health sees in the region of 53,000 service users.
Meadowbrook Unit is an adult inpatient facility based at Salford Royal Hospital. City Build’s contract was to remodel and refurbish the unit’s reception area, provide Vision Panels to inpatient bedrooms and refurbish the external screen to the perimeter.
The Batch Schemes project at Prestwich Hospital aimed to improve the facilities and environment for the staff, patients and visitors to the facility.
