City Build was appointed to convert existing clinical areas within Chorley & South Ribble District Hospital to become part of a Simulation Hospital for education purposes.
City Build’s works involved the refurbishment of the old Belmont Ward. The programme comprised of a full strip out of all redundant services, installation of electrical and mechanical facilities, installation of new ceilings and flooring, creation of breakout areas, offices, kitchen, a 4-bed ward, triage room, treatment bays, resuss bays, virtual reality room, nurses stations and stores.
