After 22 years of dedicated service, this week we say a heartfelt thank you and farewell to Linda Griffiths as she begins her well-earned retirement.
Linda joined City Build when we were a very different business. Hired by our founder, Andrew Petrie, she was only the third member of the team, alongside Martin Berry, who is now our Managing Director. From those early days, Linda has been part of an incredible journey that has seen City Build grow from a small team into a business employing more than 75 people.
As Office Manager, Linda has been the backbone of the company, providing support, guidance and organisation to generations of City Build employees. To many of us, she has been far more than a colleague – she has been a work mum, always there with a helping hand, a listening ear, and often keeping a lively bunch of builders firmly in line!
Her loyalty, dedication and commitment have helped shape the culture and values that make City Build what it is today. The impact she has had on our business and the people within it cannot be overstated.
On behalf of everyone at City Build, past and present, thank you Linda for everything you have done over the last 22 years. We wish you a long, happy and healthy retirement filled with new adventures, relaxation and plenty of time doing the things you enjoy most.
You will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
